2-Bedroom Condo with View of Amstel River

Absolutely loved our stay in this classic, beautiful home with a magnificent view of the Amstel River. There were 3 of us and this was so so much nicer and more economical than having to book 2 cramped hotel rooms. The tall ceilings and windows make this space so bright and airy. The place was spotless and the beds and linens were clean and comfortable. We could walk to everything we wanted to see within 1/2 hour or hop on a tram car. This was our first visit to Amsterdam and definitely want to come back and stay here again:)

A comfortable apartment with a wonderful view of the Amstell river and a very active scene on the street. A good location also near the universities. If the lift is not working, the stairs can be a challenge.

Very convenient since there was a great restaurant downstairs. The view was very beautiful.

Beautiful apartment just as described. The view of the river alone was worth it but the beds were also very comfortable and lots of seating. The balcony at the rear of the apartment was so cute as well. This part of town was full of locals/families and so much more our vibe than the city center.

Stunning views!!! Exactly as photographed and the perfect location to explore the city, while being just tucked away enough to have a peaceful night’s sleep. The large green plant in the living room made it feel ever warmer and more comfy to relax inside. You’ll love looking out the grand windows at the city life and the river any time of day. Sunset and nighttime views were our favorite!

John’s Airbnb was perfect for our little getaway with our daughter (2 yo). John provided a high chair and crib for her and she had her own little room which she slept very well in. The Airbnb was quiet especially considering its location! The US WiFi is a little weak especially in the bedrooms but the other options is solid. The stairs up to the unit are very steep. We left the stroller by the front door and relied on the elevator (warning it’s small and slow). But overall, it was a really great place and we had an excellent time.

What more can you want than a scenic canal, sunny clean apartment and most museums & sights within walking distance? John’s place could not have been a better location for our Amsterdam vacation. John was a great host.
